American Diets

 The average American diet is full of fatty over processed foods mixed with some greasy fast food.  I was doing a little reading online comparing the average diets with in other countries such as Asia and Europe. A girl who moved to the US from Japan stated after only six months of being in the US she had gained twenty five pounds from eating the average diet. Other contries have smaller portions and healthier foods.




That is the American diet in a nut shell. However, there are many people who do try to eat health food. One of the biggest things i have noticed is in our country we have to much meat in our diets.

This is a basic food pyramid (ignore the diet stuff at the bottom) is an Asian food pyramid. It's portions are different than the traditional American food pyramid. BUT how many people actually fallow the food pyramid not many.
